Fighting Irish Dominate Denver 15-5

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's lacrosse team capped off a dominant season with a resounding 15-5 victory over Denver in the 2024 NCAA DI Men's Lacrosse National Championship game. The win marks Notre Dame's second consecutive national title and their third overall.

The Fighting Irish jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. They led 7-2 at halftime and extended their lead to 10-3 in the third quarter. Denver managed to score a couple of goals in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.

Notre Dame was led by Pat Kavanagh, who had three goals and two assists. Ryder Garnsey and Griffin Westlin each added three goals, while Chris Kavanagh and Wheaton Jacklin each had two goals. In goal, Liam Entenman made 13 saves to earn the win.

With their victory, Notre Dame establishes themselves as one of the premier programs in college lacrosse. The Fighting Irish have now won two national championships in the past three years and they will be looking to make it three in a row in 2025.
