Chisholm Jr.'s exceptional performances earned him the attention of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who selected him as the 66th overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft. After a few years in the minor leagues, he made his highly anticipated MLB debut with the Miami Marlins in 2020.

Despite a challenging season in 2020, Chisholm Jr. flashed his potential, batting .161 with two home runs in his first 21 MLB games. His impressive performances continued in 2021, where he established himself as a rising star in the Marlins organization.

In 2022, Chisholm Jr. broke out as one of the most exciting players in baseball. He played in 139 games, amassing 14 home runs, 60 RBIs, and a .254 batting average. His electrifying play and infectious personality captivated fans, earning him a spot on the MLB All-Star team.
